NCSD Proposed Bond 3-639 Keeping students and staff safe
Show Details
Did you know nearly 17-thousand students pass through different North Clackamas school front doors each morning?
NCSD staff work diligently to create Safe, Secure, and Welcoming Spaces for every student. However, NCSD schools face constantly changing safety and security threats including securing access to campuses, communications blind spots, and consistent cybersecurity threats.
To address these challenges, the district has placed a proposed Bond on the November 2026 ballot: Measure 3-dash-639.
This measure is projected to maintain current tax rates.
The proposed Bond, if passed, would fund:
Improved secure entry systems
Expanded reach of current closed-circuit security cameras
Extended reach of the emergency panic-button system to playgrounds and outdoor spaces
Strengthened cybersecurity to protect student data
